a few weeks ago i joined a volunteer organisation called “befriending lonely elderly”in london. the organisation befriends around 400 isolated older people each year – most of whom are over 80 years old (with long term health problems and limited mobility). the vision of the organisation is a borough in which no older person is isolated.

if you have some time aside – you may have a look at some volunteer work near you – there are so many nice projects involving nature, animals, elderly, children, homeless, disabled…
its such a warm and lovely feeling to donate time to others
and
to help others is to help yourself.
