Merry Christmas

GaGa

I got my Claws out last night and went down to the O2 in London for Lady GaGa’s Monsters Ball ! I went expecting to see the greatest show on the planet, the show was great but it was GaGa as a performer, dancer and singer that really stole the show, even with the luminous green bomb proof Rolls Roye and 12 foot monsters it was her talent and indivuality that stood out most. In my opinion a true great in the making.

The Green Soccer Journal Issue 01

Last night saw the culmination of a lot of hard work captained by James Roper and Adam Towle when issue one of  The Green Soccer Journal was officially launched.

The Green is unlike anything else out there and this is why I am so excited by it and feel so fortunate to be invloved with it.

Myself and so many of my peers are huge football fans and for the most this is a completely seperate interest from our day to day lives/jobs but The Green bridges this gap and brings our love of  football to a creative platform. With contributors including photographer Neil Bedford and writer Daniel Tickner features and interviews from the likes of  the cover star Clarence Seedorf and Roxy Music Front man Brian Ferry the content is impressive.

From the first time I met Adam and James and saw issue 0 (top left) I knew that they were onto a winner, nothing out there is anything like this….and we all want it ! Just looking at the sales and excitment in the first few weeks is proof! I just wish Id thought of it myself ! Another reason this project is different is that the way Adam and James run the magazine, as a contributor I almost feel part of The Green team and this is rare in my line of work, your opinions feel valued and the lads really are open to your thoughts and ideas. Heres to many more issues, I just hope I can keep shooting for them !
