Popped down to see Claire Martin and friends at the Russian Studios on Kingsland Road, East London for MillCo.’s first annual exhibition. MillCo is a creative agency set up late in 2009 to find, nurture and push creatives into the spotlight, brilliantly branded and personably fresh its a great collective that I would love to get invloved with. Stand out work for me on the night was Kevin Cummins, the black and white hat on a tipped head….striking !
Some images of a good friend George Jerry ‘Mumbler’ Hields on his prized Bianchi fixed gear bike. ‘Mumbler’s’ blog itsallaboutrightthen is well worth a look.
I have neglected my website in favour of myblog for some time now and its something Ive been wanting to rectify. A lovely video by a friend Tyrone Lebon photographer and founder of DoBeDo. Tyrone always produces beautifully honest work that has a timeless quality and I often see similarities in our ad hoc approach. The video also features my Mentor, friend and tutor Mark Lebon whom without who I wouldnt be where I am now and friend and styllist Max Pearmain whom is Menswear editor at POP magazine.
“With Stussy Deluxe and Greensleeves working together we are witnessing another impressive project from higher end side of the streetwear label. Here is a video from photographer Tyrone Lebon who also worked with Stussy on the Ricoh artist project this is a unique interpretation fusing together fashion with music. Featuring the product photo shoot with Lauren Jones, Jazzy Strummer, Jet Letts, Amber Letts, Louis Simonon, Claude Simonon, Ava & Stella Jones and Honor & Liberty Letts this makes for great viewing.” slamxhype.
