SCIENCE DAY/Sunday November 24th 2013

The Science Day is a chance for Flemish Universities, Institutes of Science or Companies to discuss and reflect current developments in Science by hosting various workshops and exhibitions.

MoMu takes part in the Science Day 2013 by presenting the wondrous technique of 3D printing in fashion.
This up coming theme seems to become more and more present in our daily lives. Not only modern technique or medicine will profit from the recent invention of 3D printing.
Different web sides, e.g. i.materialise.com, offer people to print out their own designs and to help realising them their visions and ideas to become real.
As well in fashion, 3D printing is counted as an exciting method for designers to print out visions, they before could only dream of.
Fashion designers, like Iris van Herpen and Pierre Renaoux are counted as fashion pioneers including 3D printing within their collections.
Experience more about the technique of 3D printing and get in touch with magical high fashion designs-
@MoMu Library, on Sunday, November 24th 2013, open from 10AM until 6PM and free entrance to the exhibition 50 Years Antwerp Fashion Department!
